A really convenient location so close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, with many good restaurants and food shops nearby. Bus transport was an easy walk away. The apartment is light and airy, with great air conditioning for the hot Roman climate we experienced. Heating is unavailable until November which is problematic when it is cold in october and the kitchen does not have a toaster. Would definitely return to these apartments.

You can feel the women hand in that accomodation. We can recommend as well the location. Street Via della Giuliana is taking you straight to Vatican City. First floor apartment, with elevator is very helpful for older people. Fast internet, Bus Stop 20 mtrs from home and 300 mtrs to Metro Station . Whenever we will have possibility to come back to Rome for sure we will choose the same apartment.

On the other side of the building was heavy traffic, but with the new windows closed it didn't bother us, we preferred the nice river-sceen from the windows. Location was just what we expected, a nice walk away from all the famous places. We had the best espresso at the 'own' bar downstairs. Other 'kingsize' bed was a bit narrow...

The facilities are more than adequate, with a great little kitchen and multiple bathrooms (always welcome!). But the real winner was the location, I really don't think you could pick a better position in Rome. Studio Ruffini October-08 UK Older Couple Chris C. We had a superb short break at this property on our first visit to Rome. The owner Pier-Fransisco could not have been more welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. The attic apartment itself was brilliant - with all mod-cons provided. This studio is about a 5 minute walk to the nearest Metro station or a 15-20 min walk into the City Centre.....so V. convenient.I would recommend this fairly- priced property an would not hesitate in re-booking if we return to Rome again in the near future.
Studio Ruffini October-08 USA Older Couple Rosa Ada Studio Ruffini was the most delightful accommodation my husband and I have ever experienced. Designed by the owner architects, every detail is pleasing to the eye. Beyond the essential comforts such as an excellent bed, lots of storage room, good shower - coffee is provided for the space-age looking coffee machine and there is even a first aid kit. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay a delight. To access the apartment, you go up the elevator, then climb one flight of stairs and unlock a door leading out onto the roof. A short walk across the roof reveals a lovely glass security door and you step down into a room that feels so delightful that I felt like I was living in a luxurious tree house. The owner was very patient and friendly and took time to teach us about the best local restaurants, gelato and the most interesting church to attend. Because of his generous help, we were able to experience Rome as a local. I could not overpraise this wonderful apartment. I want my friends to go to Rome so they can experience this marvelous apartment.

Greetings, I just wanted to let your office know how much my husband, daughter, and I enjoyed our stay at the Apartment Balestrari Terrace, between Oct 7th and 12th. Besides being located in a great neighborhood, the apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We especially appreciated that fact in the kitchen: there was virtually no utensil that we needed that we couldn't find.In addition, the owner provided tour books, maps, and very useful information about everything from bus routes to grocery stores and restaurants. And there was a beautiful apple cake and bowl of fresh fruit waiting for us upon our arrival! A very nice touch. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to others. Best, Judith B.

The location was central with several key tourist areas within walkign distance, and buses available locally to take you further afield. The information provided by Italy Accom about restaurants and other local amenities was most useful. The broadband internet access service provided was also very useful. Overall we'd recommend this apartment, though it was on a busy noisy road.

Apartment Trastevere October-08 Australia Family Group Margaret D. We stayed in this apartment from the 9/10- 14/10 with our 2 children. A few weeks previously we had stayed in an apartment in Paris on the Ile De St Louis, an "exclusive" neighbourhood, but pokey on the inside.Our initial impressions of the building from the outside, the street and courtyard were that, the neighbourhood was slightly unkempt/avant garde/ "grungey". However, once we were in the apartment and familar with the local environment the street appearance was of no concern. The interior furnishings, cleanliness and quality of the amenities was of very high standard. There was an ample supply of towels, cooking equipment, crockery and utensils- often these items are limited in number in apartments so this was great. The equipment was easy to use and everything was spotless. Nothing had been forgotten. We especially enjoyed the welcoming touch of the fruit and cake. We walked everywhere from the apartment, except to the station and we enjoyed the nightlife and quirky shops in the local neighbourhood. From walking around over a few days we soon realised that the grafitti we noticed on our arrival was all over Rome and not particular to the area.

Studio Ruffini October-08 USA Older Couple Michelle H. This apt. is delightful & looks just like the pictures. It does take a little effort to avoid hitting one's head on the down-slope side of the roof; however, the amenities of the unit more than make up for this little inconvenience! The roofline windows have automatic blinds, shades & open automatically with a remote. The gardens are beautiful and the neighborhood is very safe. An open air farmer's/flea market is just a short block away.The apt. is about a 25 min. walk from the Vatican & about 15 minutes from one of the stops of the hop on & off tour buses. I highly recommend this apt. & would definately stay again. Also, Italy Accom. is a wonderful company with a very helpful staff!! Jill & Talia were so very helpful with recommendations & informational assistance. The car service to the airport was excellent and fairly priced.

Apartment Cisterna September-08 Australia Family Group Josie H. The apartment was exceptional. It met all our needs, and was in a wonderful part of Rome. The apartment was clean and well equiped. We were able to walk everywhere and public transport (if required) was easily accessable. Great restaurants and supermarkets around the corner from the apartment. We were met by the owner (Alessandro) who was very polite, professional and very informative of the local area, recommending restaurants and local sites. We also booked transportation to and from the apartment via Italy-Accom and found the service to be excellent with drivers arriving at the agreed times. I have no hestiation in recommending this apartment or Italy-Accom. I would definitly stay at Apartment Cisterna again. Thank you for making our stay in Rome one that will be in our memory forever. Very impressed with the standard of your drivers. They met us at the agreed times and were very professional. The cars used were very clean, comfortable andin excellent condition.

Studio Vittoria September-08 Canada Young Couple Alec G. We got back to Canada on Tuesday 7th, after a great holiday.This was my 3rd trip to Italy and although too short was wonderful and without problems. Studio Vittoria was great, small but comfortable and a great location by Spanish Steps. The Rome metro and Bus system was also excellent.. no problems, no hassels and we felt really safe. We walked the streets of old Rome for 6 days and enjoyed every bit of it. We travel on our own, I could stand to be with a tour group being lead around by by a leader holding a flag..blocking the way of other people as the group stops to listen? to the tour guide, and then forget what was said in about 5mins. I rented a car and drove to Praiano, a few km from Positano. Studio Stanizone was amazing, the best terrace and views that you could hope for, and no crowds or tour groups. Thank you for your accomodations, and organization ( Mauritzio? in Rome and Domenico in Praiano were excellent). I will reccomend your company to my friends and we intend to return to Aparment Stanzione for a longer stay in the future.

Apartment Parione September-08 Canada Family Group J.M As a family group of six we found the apartment Parione to be an excellent base in Rome. The apartment was well appointed and very well kept. Nothing was lacking. It was close to major attractions, most of which were in easy walking distance. The nearness of shops, pharmacy, restaurants and market was an added bonus. We would certainly use the services of Italy-Accom again and would recommend it to others. The only negative point in our stay was a 'mix-up' in the transportation arrangements from the Airport to Apt. Parione on the day we arrived. However, our departure transportation arrived on time. It is superbly located next to a lively piazza that is a market by day and a popular venue for restaurants and street musicians in the evening. But with the windows closed you can have near silence. During our weeks stay, we were able to walk to every main attraction in Rome. The accomodation is very clean and interestingly decorated and nicely furnished. A luxury for 2 people. We were very sad to leave. We were kindly met on arrival at the appartment and were shown all that we needed to know.

We absolutely LOVED Apartment Barberini. It was perfect for myself and travelling companion. Loved the high ceilings, the furniture and the kitchen met our needs perfectly. The building is outstanding and oh-so-cool. This is prime property. Our drivers were very nice, on time and could hold their own in Rome's traffic like nobody's business. Our hostess, Rosie, was the nicest and most geniune person! We loved her and would have liked to have seen her one more time. She was so helpful and had such a great sense of humor. If we have the chance to see Rome again, this is the first apartment I will be trying to book.

The place was spotless, and had a full array of appliances and ameinities to make our stay as comfortable as being back at home. Location wish the apartment is situated within walking distance to many of Romes sites. Even the five flights of steps didn't dampen our opinion of the appartment. The experience enjoyed at Bella Guilia means that we would gladly return to rome to stay here again. It was clean, warm, spacious and no more than a 10 minute stroll to St. Peter's Square in the Vatican City. The two bedrooms had lovely en-suites and balconies. Despite its central location, the rooms were quiet at night. I would highly recommend this accommodation. There were four of us; it could have easily taken another two. We all felt that we were really lucky to find this place in such a great location. All in all, I would highly recommend your service. In fact, I have sent the link to many colleagues and friends.

The Apt dei Trevi in Rome was a beautifully decorated apartment with old Italain mixed with the modern. It was centrally located. I would highly recommend the apartment and the landlord. We felt very at home and wanted to stay longer. Can't wait to go back. Apartment Federico Cesi September-08 USA Older couple Angel G. The apartment was just as pictured on the website. It was very spacious and quite comfortable. The bed was great and made for some great sleeping. We enjoyed the courtyard having our wine and dinner al fresco two of the days we were there. The kitchen was a bit small but we managed to cook a couple of good dinners as we had all the pots and pans that we needed. The people in the apartment complex were very friendly even though they didn't speak very much English and we spoke very little Italian. However our Spanish got us through quite well. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be in a central location in Rome. There is a very good seafood restaurant two doors down from the apartment and the hotel Visconti across the street where they make the best martinis in Rome. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants the experience of apartment living in Rome.

Apartment Fortuna Terrace September-08 UK Family Group Francis G. Delightful 'city centre' apartment, furnished very tastefully and to a very high standard. Very quiet considering its proximity to the old city, tucked away from the busy city life. Within walking distance of all major sites; or easy access by minibus or tram. Piazza del Pobolo, Spanish Steps, shopping and trattoria all conveniently minutes walk away. Only criticism was lack of a welcome pack of basic provisions; but excellent local deli's minutes walk away. Highly recommended. Rosie was wonderful and extremely helpful - sorted evrything we asked for.

Apartment Hemans - Palazzo Fortuny September-08 USA Older couple Dawn K. The Apartment Hemans (and the other apts in the same building) give you the best of both worlds. On the one hand, being at the end of a cul de sac and behind a gate, they are very quiet. On the other hand, they are within minutes of the Metro, the Piazza del Popolo, and numerous bus lines. There is easy access to everything you want to see in Rome. And you have a quiet retreat at the end of the day.

Although our flight was 8 hours late, the taxi driver was waiting at the airport on our arrival at 4 am. He warmly welcomed us to Rome. The apt owner also was waiting for us, so we got in and settled quickly. We took up your suggestion about leaving our cases at the airport left luggage, and taking a taxi to the port for lunch. We spent a beautiful afternoon there, before taking a taxi back for our evening flight.

Apartment Teatro Della Pace September-08 UK Older Couple Bitten B. my brother and I stayed for four nights in this small but clean and adequate flat. a perfect place right in the middle of Rome only a few meters from Piazza Navona and with a supermarket only five minutes away. it was less than 1/2 hour walk to St.Peter's, Piazza del Popolo, Colleseo and Trastevere, we never needed a taxi, absolutely a perfect location. I will say, however, that due to restaurants and cafes directly under the flat it is advisable to bring ear plugs if you are early to bed and an early riser, the noise do go on until 2 am but this is Rome and is charming too. the flat has everything you need, big enough for three people, bear in mind you have to go through the bedroom to go to the bathroom. I can definitely recommend this to anybody and i would certainly stay here again.

Apartment Hemans - Palazzo Fortuny August-08 USA Family Group Grant Y. The apartment was very charming and conveniently located to the Spanish Steps (just north of the Piazza Popoli) and very convenient to the Villa Borghese Museum. There were several restaurants nearby (casual and sit-down) and easy access to the Metro (about 2 blocks away). The apartment was nicely priced, but did not have a living room. Instead it had a private, quiet garden area with a scenic rooftop view. We loved that we were not burried in the busy city and felt very secure here. The 2 bedroom were comfortable with tons of closet space in the second bedroom. Both bathrooms were very clean and functional. The Master lacked a shower, but had the tub with shower hose (seems to be more of a traditional Italian concept). The 2nd bath had a shower and was the small add-on type with small sliding doors. It too had a shower hose, but really should have had a higher hook-on clasp, since the waist-level was less efficient. I added that comment to the suggestion box so hopefully this will be provided in the future. Both bathrooms had modern toilets, sinks and bidets. Overall, very charming and good value at the $130 Euro per night price. The kitchen was tiny, but had most everything for simple cooking, including a small burner stovetop, microwave, medium refrig and coffee maker. Dishes and silverware were complete, but would have loved a wine-cork puller. I suggest you bring your own since in 14 days of travel only found one hotel with wine opener.

The location was perfect, very central, close to all the tourist sites and public transit. I would recommend it for families and would not hesitate staying there again on my next visit to Rome.

Otherwise, apt beautiful and location next door to Gucci store and Spanish steps was fantastic. Rose, our greeter, was wonderful. I want this published on the web! Julia and Talia were great. We used Italy Accom for 3 different sites, 3 nights each, Venice, Florence, Rome. Not only were the apts actually there, they were great, and the service/help was excellent. I cannot tell you how apprehensive I was: whether there would even be apts! I had labored over many websites and I went with Italy Accom due to their information and having AC and 2 bathrooms with reasonable pricing available. Julia and Talia answered all queries immediately, calmed any fears. I was very happy to have the chance to meet them. Then I screwed up with a payment and everyone was very understanding and trusted me implicitly. It would be a great convenience if credit cards could be used directly and the entrance to apts to be direct (without phone calls, etc) but I must say, the phone calls were not hard and each greeter was there and helpful/kind. Rosie in Rome was very kind! Italy Accom warned about noise levels, we never had an issue at any location. All apts were ideally located and the information about location and apt amenities on the web were accurate, detailed and helpful. I would use this group anywhere in any country. The Aussie (?) mgr (Leon) was incredibly good-hearted and interested in my feedback and helped me when I made a payment mistake, calmed me down instead of worrying about $$$.
Studio Orso July-08 USA Young Couple Alison R. The location is terrific; close to everything (although a bit of a walk from the Metro) and very safe. One feels as though living in the "real" Rome and not a touristy hotel. It is a tiny studio, but we made it work having coffee and some meals there. A few things need fixing: the shower leaks and the closet door won't close properly, but these were minor. We loved our "studio" in Rome and will be back!

Excellent location for shops and the Vatican which was only a 10 minute walk away. From there, we managed to get on a tour bus quite easily. The apartment had all the amenities, we did cooking and laundry as well. Highly recommended.

Apartment Teatro Della Pace July-08 USA Family Group Beth A. We LOVED this place! My 76 year old mother, 21 year old son and I shared this place in July '08. The location could not have been better. Right in the center of the action. It had modern amenities with old world charm. There is a supermarket just down the street, Piazza Navona is steps away....we walked almost everywhere. You will want to bring earplugs as the neighborhood sounds may keep you up if you want to turn in early. I had never been to Europe before, and was apprehensive about trusting any non traditional accomodation companies. My experience with Rome-Accom was excellent, and I would reccomend them to anyone!

If you can take the steps (the website warns you about them, and they are a bit of a challenge) this is an outstanding apartment. The position is second to none, but we didn't hear a sound from outside the entire time we were there (thanks to the very effective double glazing). But the outstanding feature of this apartment is its presentation. Lots and lots of room, beautifully appointed, and a very efficient air conditioner. Thanks for a fabulous stay. We would DEFINITELY stay in this apartment again! The taxi driver who met us at the airport was extremely friendly and helpful. It was an excellent introduction to Rome and Italy. I would highly recommend him to all your visitors. Thank you for a wonderful start to our holiday. I wish all accommodation providers were as reliable.

Located halfway between the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain, this is a spacious one-bedroom one and one-half bath space it a great location. The subway is close as is shopping on the Via Condotti and Via Veneto. The manager met us on time and we had a great stay. Delightful people to work with. Recommended to all experienced travellers.

On arrival there was a nice surprise for us (bottle of wine and water). The only minus is fourth floor and long-long stairs. I don't recommend it to reserve people who are not able to take these 109 steps. For the rest it's just super place to stay!

Can get a little noisy at night but that's to be expected in Rome. Good value for money....and make sure take the guestbook's advice and walk to Da Baffetto on Via del Governo Vecchio (past Piazza Navona) for the best pizza ever!...jut don't expect a smiling waiter or cut glassware.

About 50 metres from the Pantheon and also close to the Piazza Navona. A car from the airport was essential to finding it (for first time visitors to Rome). Ice cream for the children and wine for the adults was a lovely welcome gesture from the owner. Only word of caution is that, with 109 steps to the front door and no elevator, don't think of nipping back upstairs to get something you forgot! In all, our visit was handled extremely professionally and the standard of accomodation and service were superb.
