Follow the short lane route
After crossing Ponte Sisto, pause at the edge of the riverside square so your group can gather. Walk inward toward Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere. Follow public lanes and keep the basilica square as the next clear final stop.
At the square, look at the church façade and decide whether an indoor visit fits. Worship can limit public entry. A closed or busy church does not stop you enjoying the square and continuing the neighborhood walk. The opening conditions for each indoor stop are beside the map.

Is this an interactive map?
